not to mention that while Lord John has been able to successfully hide his sexuality for decades, he slips up in the parlor of HIS OWN HOUSE and the person who sees him is said garbage, whiny character. Maybe we're supposed to believe William takes after his atrocious mother.
William's mom was more likable than he is. 🤣 She was a spoiled brat at times but at least she could have her fun moments. William is just a mopey jerk. His reaction to Lord John made me wish (again) that he'd been the one to DIAF. Fergus was too good for an ending like that. He was so kind and sweet and adored his family. Oh! What was the point of introducing the idea of Fergus' bio dad and his inheritance if they were just going to kill him off a few episodes later? I don't think Marsali is going to claim it since Fergus didn't plan on doing it. I mean, maybe she will change her mind and give it to their kids. I dunno.

I certainly HOPE SO! But part of me will always be afraid they could go all Sons of Anarchy and kill most of the lead players.
I don't think they'd dare kill Jamie or Claire. The fan revolt (especially over Jamie) would be a lot. I also wouldn't be shocked if they are planning some spin-offs so probably no more deaths.
Lord John would be the only spin-off I'd be interested in tho. A week ago I would've said Fergus and Marsali, too, but here we are with that. They could've focused on the war from the POV of Fergus with his print shop while secretly supporting the rebellion against England. Or the adventures of Ian in the Colonies would've been fun before they saddled him with his dull wife. Lord John would be the only one I'd watch now.
