I think the last movie I watched is The Testament of Ann Lee

Itā€™s a 2025 historical musical drama about Ann Lee, the founder of the Shakers religious sect with Amanda Seyfried as Ann Lee and Christopher Abbott as her husband. The film is a speculative retelling of Leeā€™s life, following her journey from England to America in the 18th century, her preaching of gender and social equality, and her quest to build a utopian community, featuring reimagined Shaker hymns and original music and choreography. It got an 87 RT rating.

I had no idea going in that this film is a musical. But, LOL, I caught on when the characters kept singing. It was interesting. I liked it and am not sorry I watched it but I didnā€™t love it. Iā€™m not good at grading films but I guess Iā€™d give it a B.
