one of my favorite co-workers to work with. She's maybe not the best on the register but she's fantastic with customers and she's a wonderful conversationalist, which is important when there's nobody in the store, everything that needs to be done has been done and you're bored out of your mind. Anyways, I found out that she went to school with Bill Watterson, creator of the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes (one of mine and Dad's very favorite comic strips). He grew up in the town I now work in, same as S, and he was editor of the yearbook the year S was the assistant editor. The cover of their yearbook that year was actually drawn by BW. I also found out the reason Hobbes is a tiger: it's a nod to their high school mascot.
Another reason I like working with S: she's in the running for most interesting person I know 😄
