well, ice PELLETS, aka sleet.
super light and super fluffy snow. terrible for snowball fights, but great for skiing.
plows came at the beginning of the storm and after it ended. it was coming down SO FAST that it was dangerous for them to be out from like 12-3pm.
but we woke up to decently plowed streets, so that's good.
my favorite complaints gathered from the local facebook page are from folks who recently moved here from more...urban areas: "when will they plow to the blacktop?" or "i see that they have plowed, but I can't see the street, it's still mostly covered."
i don't even know how ANY city is able to plow to the blacktop this close after the storm and I have never lived in a major city, so to those that do...is plowing to the blacktop this close after a storm normal?
