It was just the bare tree in the corner for about a week, but this weekend, my daughter bagged it and put it in the shed. It's settled.
Now, we have a hole in the corner. I'm not 100% sure about dragging the TV back into the room. We, well, I turned it on maybe four times in the last year and it just makes it difficult to lay out the furniture in the room. In theory, everything has to be able to see the TV. It's one of those larger, 50" or so, TVs. So you have to decide where the sofa and coffee table and huge recliner go. In addition, we have three big windows (about 5' tall and 3' wide) with one that is blocked if we put the TV in the corner.
I bought a projector that has an HDMI port, so I could, in theory, hook up my Amazon FireStick to it and project it at whichever direction has a flat surface. I've talked myself out of getting an action screen for the projector, but a nice sheet might do for now. Not sure if we'll have to get a set of Bluetooth speakers for it.
Living life in normal, as we call it "Ordinary" time, and trying to make the room comfortable for us.
