surgeon, or at least tell your regular dentist to stop sending patients to him. No numbing agent before an injection? Not allowing your husband in to hear the instructions as well? Nicking your lip and causing it to bleed? Forgetting to call in the pain meds? Any of those alone would be a red flag but all of them together makes me think this person should find another profession.
