The week started out fine, we left MD on Sunday and stopped in Richmond to see a friend from college. We spent the night at a hotel there. Next morning we drove to my older brother's house in NC and spent time with him and his family. While we were there, my little brother let us know my mom wasn't feeling well and he took her to the ER. Immediately tested positive for the flu. She's been admitted and no idea how long she'll be in there.
Still planning on doing Christmas with my brothers...and then this morning my SIL, who had been sick for over a week with a cough, went to urgent care because she thought she had a sinus infection. Nope, covid!! So glad I saw her last night and that Jack hung out at their house while I went to see my mom. So now we've all been exposed.
And did I mention Mr Kris has "congestion" that started yesterday and he's obviously dying because he has a sniffle?
Yeah we're packing up and heading home tomorrow. This is up in the top three worst Christmasses.
