First, I found a tree in a box in the attic that I do not even remember buying! lol... but it was in a box with a mailing label with my name on it so I had to have done so at some point in time. The funny thing... other than forgetting I ordered it was that it came with two pairs of white gloves to wear while putting it together. I thought that odd. Anyway... it is a nice tree. Easy to put together nice and full... probably my favorite tree now.
I've done that more than once with Christmas presents--I could never be the person who buys all my gifts throughout the year and stashes them until December--but never with an entire tree <g>.
Then, I pulled out my new flocked tree (that I do remember buying). I got it at a silent auction at a church event. I could tell the box had been opened but hey... it was a church event and I was told all the pieces were there. Well... all the pieces of tree were... but the stand was not. LOL.. so after dragging all the pieces out... and getting the flocking residue all over my freshly mopped floors... I learned I could not use it until I get a new stand. It looks nice... but now I have to find a stand that will work... and not sure if I have the interest or energy to do that this year.
Oops! Maybe just wait until after Christmas sales to look for a new stand? Lots of Christmas stuff now sells out long before Christmas but I feel stands will still be around.
So I put up my old favorite tree.. which is also nice and full. And I decided not to put up one of my trees... because it leans (must be a common Christmas tree issue). So I will live with just two trees this year.
Nice to know I'm not the only one who has a Leaning Tower of Tree-sa. I love that you have multiple trees! If I had the space, I would love to do at least two trees: my usual chaotic, nostalgic tree and a themed tree. Though I'm not sure what theme I would go with, as I love them all!
