We had to shift stuff in the garage to make room for the people to install the killer screens last week. That included moving
lots of paint. I finally did the research and found out that I can drop off household paint at the transfer point (local dump)
for free!!!! There's a place that will pick up paint at your house for a mere $200...um, no.
I plan to spend the week grabbing the containers of paint (some gallon cans, some five gallon buckets, and some small cans, but all used or partly used) and stack them outside for transfer into the Prius(?) after I've taken a picture of the paint containers and, hopefully, the code for the paint color, in case I need more. I'm just not going to keep it at the house cluttering the garage. (Not sure if I'm going to keep a 5-gallong bucket to keep the door blocked open on the patio so the dogs can use the dog door. Minor aside.)
If all goes well, I should be able to lay out some garbage bags and load everything into the Prius this week, weekend, or next week and get it out of my house so I can shift stuff out of the way and move the refrigerator! Yes, I have another refrigerator, a French one with double doors at the top and a freezer at the bottom and a water line. I bought it a few years ago in another city and drove down there, rented a U-Haul trailer and appliance dolly and drove it home. I think I got it for less than $500. It's a good deal since it was brand new or very close to it.
I have dreams and hopes, grand desires, and see potential to make some space during the holiday season! That would be quite a wonderful gift for me, even though it will take a lot of work.
