The shelves have five openings and are a tile top. I have some dangling nativity scenes and some with creches (the stables). Most are the pieces (people and animals) that can be arranged however I want. Some started off with lots of space but have gotten closer together to make room for other scenes.
I have a box of "hospital" nativity scenes that still need some repairs on the hearth. I have some to reattach some heads on the wisemen and figure how to put the top on one of the ceramic sheep, among other odd pieces whose absence doesn't make the rest of their nativity scene unworkable.
I have some flat ones that I plan to attach to the tiles around and above the mantle.
No pictures, also no animals.
