Our whale watching plans were also canceled due to the weather, so we hit up a winery in town and had a couple drinks instead. Which were much needed, as the day we were there was Sept. 11, 2001 😬

We drove up to Portland later in the day and met a former college roommate of mine for dinner and the next day she took us to Mount St. Helens, which I very much recommend if you have the chance.
