It’s a 7-episode British psychological drama created by and starring Richard Gadd. It is adapted from his autobiographical one-man show. In a nutshell:
“When a struggling comedian deals with a female stalker, whom he showed kindness to once, he is forced to face a dark, buried trauma.”
It’s well-done and very emotionally honest. It won 6 Emmys and has a 99 TR. I highly recommend it unless you don’t like to watch shows involving mental illness and dealing with abuse.
I guess I’m on a miniseries roll. The last three shows I’ve watched — Death By Lightning, Normal People and Baby Reindeer are all very good miniseries. I love the format — longer than a movie but shorter than a regular series. It’s the perfect format for telling some stories without having to cut or stretch too much to fit into the longer and shorter forms.
