and Dad wouldn't care if we didn't have the "traditional" Thanksgiving feast, so that's good. I'm thinking about just picking up a turkey breast...but even those are pretty pricy. I also looked at packaged turkey tenderloins (raw) and THOSE are close to $10 for just 2-3 'loins.
I just checked my schedule for next week and lucky me; I'm off Wednesday, and the store is closed on Thursday (and of course it's not a paid holiday for all of us except the store manager), then I'm working Black* Friday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. I don't think I actually worked last year on BF but I also wasn't a keyholder last year, so it didn't really matter which of the regular associates worked.
* I don't know if this is a company thing or a nationwide thing but our company is calling BF "Best Friday" this year. Could be a marketing gimmick but I did Google and discovered a few people consider "Black" Friday to be racist.
