As for what I did read....the worst was The Sequel by Jean Hanff Korelitz. It is in fact a sequel to The Plot which was pretty good except for the ending. The Sequel concentrates on a pretty despicable character from the Plot which the author seems to find endlessly fascinating. A lot of nonsense about her living her best life when I find she should have faced some consequences.
I also read The Ladies Road Guide to Utter Ruin(the Ill-Mannered Ladies #2) by Allison Goodman. It's a light Regency mystery.
Currently reading Be a Nerd That Talks Good by Joel Benge. His mother is a friend and his book is funny and helpful.
Also reading The Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine. Just started it but it has Rosemary's Baby vibes and it's also the basis for American Horror Season 12 which I haven't watched.
