question 🙂 Why doesn't the pitcher ever leave the mound, to go check on the person? Is that not allowed? Is there fear that a fight will break out? I would imagine that 90% of the time it is an accident. I just never understood why they don't head over to apologize. They are generally, clearly upset by it.
