Mostly just found clips on social media -- that was never really my show, but I definitely watched at least the whole first season and then dipped in and out after that.
The reunion happened Monday at the Rodgers Theatre in NYC, and James Vanderbeek was too sick to attend, so Lin-Manuel Miranda had to fill in for him. EVERYONE else from the cast was there, even the McPhees. They did a reading of the pilot and did things like have Busy Phillips, who doesn't join the cast until season 5, read the English teacher Pacey hooks up with. The few brief clips of the reading I've seen looked really fun, but there was also this heavy weight on it, since James has cancer and the messages he sent really made it clear that he's very sick.
Anyway. This cast didn't have the best reputation for getting along and they've done wildly different things -- from being nominated for oscars to marrying the world's most famous scientologist -- so it was nice to see every single person show up to do this in order to raise money for cancer.
A sweet story in these less-than-sweet times.
