I agree. I don't think I would have been as gracious but then if Ayo had gone off--that would have become the focus of the story.
I was debating with someone about this and they were like: Come on. English is her second language, this was likely due to a language barrier. I was like that's so cute that you think that. This was done by design. She excluded her from the question and then double-downed on it when Julia gave her an opportunity to course correct.
There was so much for her to pick up on:
1. Andrew's body language and facial expressions
2. Ayo's disbelief is this really happening face
3. Julia calling out she isn't sure who she is talking to because she is wearing shades.
If this woman had on trifocals she could not read the room!
