moderate allergy to coconut. She can handle getting it in any form on her skin, and she's generally OK with faux coconut (aka any kind of coconut flavoring). But if she ingests the real deal in any form, she gets wheezy and breaks out in hives. It's apparently not serious enough to warrant carrying an epipen but it's seriously uncomfortable for her. Unfortunately, in the last few years, a number of people have started putting coconut oil or coconut flour in baking products and don't think to tell her.
