second house (ie Assembly bills to the Senate Floor and visa versa). The Appropriations just announce what got off. If no mention, it died.
I am a bit nervous about our Paid Family Leave bill (adding caregivers of chosen family). While the author's office (and her incredible Chief of Staff JR) have been negotiating with the administration on some amendments to rectify concerns, and JR seemed pretty confident, you just never know with Appropriations.
This bill has had unanimous, bi-partisan support. But you never know!
