Not a fan of ranch dressing. My fam calls it kid sauce — the thing you can put on any food to make the kiddies eat it.

Hee--so true! My sister's son will literally eat anything and we all firmly believe the reason for that is whenever Sis introduced him to a new (savory) food, she'd start off by drenching it in ranch and then slowly reduce the amount of dressing until he was just eating the food plain.
