kinda sorta like Tracker, but less formulaic and much more interesting.
This season takes place in Yosemite, which of course we also love. I think Eric Bana's character will move around in other seasons - it was renewed for S2.
I like that Native Americans are part of the cast, and that the show features some of these characters in the main cast. People don't realize how many indigenous live up there in the High Sierras.
I think there was also one scene where Eric Bana's character went to a street with shops on both sides of a road, just outside Yosemite. That was not CA 140 - which I believe goes up from Madera/Clovis and takes you into the south entrance to the park, but it'd be nice if it was. I was on that road during a work trip in 2023. Couldn't get into the park due to all the snow that year. Most of the show is filmed in British Columbia, which can resemble the Sierras.
