was a waitress at a high end seafood restaurant in a somewhat high end Cleveland suburb. She waited on her share of celebrities...I asked her once who her favorite and least favorite celebrities to wait on were. Her favorite was Jean Stapleton ("Edith" on All in the Family). Sis said she was just really sweet and down to earth and didn't expect any special treatment. A close second for favorite celebrity was Austin Carr, then the shooting guard for the Cavs; not only was he a really nice guy, he was also a really good tipper. Her least favorite celebrity? Hands down, Peter Benchley, the author of Jaws. He apparently came in with his mom and was trying to impress her with his "importance"; this translated into him being exceptionally rude and demanding of the wait staff. Sis couldn't think of any other celebrities she thought were really terrible customers.
