all day every Thursday: 9:30 AM-7:15 PM. I'd told our store manager that I didn't mind working both shifts in the day
once in a while...but we've had pretty phenomenal sales almost every Thursday I've worked all day (along with B--Big Grandma Energy--who I adore), so I'm thinking SM thinks this is a winning formula when really it's more just luck that the big rollers come in on Thursdays.
Well, mostly luck. This morning, we had not one but two of our best customers call to see if SM was working today. When told no, SM is off on Thursdays, both customers said "good" and came in. The pair of them, plus a pair of lovely sisters from Alabama, spent around $2K; we wound up doing triple the sales the company wanted us to do today, so I'm not seeing any Thursdays off, or even any "half day" Thursdays, in the foreseeable future.
