I loved that she fought for (and won) the character being the smartest person in the room. Though admittedly, one of my favorite episodes of WKRP was when Mama Carlson had a consultant visit the station and everyone acted the opposite of how they actually were, including Jennifer. Dad and I still sometimes quote (or more likely slightly misquote) a few of her lines from that episode when Jennifer tells the consultant to have a seat. Something along the lines of "We have one over there...and over there...and over there...oops, no, that's a clock!"
At least I think that was the quote. Funny enough, when I tried to Google the exact quote, AI assured me I was thinking of the more (most?) famous line "With God as my witness...I thought turkeys could fly".
