I honestly don't know how much involvement Chico's has with the making

of their outlet's clothes. Is it the same buyers? Do the buyers simply get cheaper (but similar looking) fabric for the outlet's clothing? My mind was blown when I found out Chico's Outlet wasn't full of Chico's overruns/last season's clothing.

LOL at entitled rich witches and senior saints. It’s not easy serving the wealthy when you are struggling yourself.

THIS! I'm not really a covetous person but I never suffer from possession envy more than when I'm working. Yesterday, I had a woman tell me, very sincerely, that she was going on a "short" cruise to the Bahamas in a couple months. When I asked her how long she'd be gone, she told me 25 days. Ummm...if 25 days is a "short" cruise for her, then what's a "long" cruise to her?

I also get a little twitchy when women tell me about how many closets full of clothes they have or how many items of clothing they have that they've never even taken the tags off, let alone worn. Now I have way too many clothes, thanks to a couple co-workers being generous with their cast-offs. And I can't wait to not work at Chico's and give a bunch of clothes away. I've never wanted multiple closets full of clothes (seriously, how many outfits can you wear in a week?) and it kind of irks me that our customers overspend on clothes when that money could be better used elsewhere. I will make exceptions for the women who either are buying for friends and family members or are donating their barely/never used clothes to charity.

I agree that you should close at 5 on Sundays, especially since it has been documented that no/ few sales are made after 5 on Sunday.

Actually, we're only open noon-5:00 PM on Sundays. On Saturdays, we're open 10:00 AM-7:00 PM, the same as Monday-Friday, and while we *might* get a few more customers on a Saturday afternoon than any other time of the week (most of our customers are retired or SAHMs/wives who don't work and can shop whenever they please), we never do well on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening.

I’ve never been to Ruby Tuesday. One thing that I have not been into since Covid is salad bars and other kinds of buffets. They were easy to give up though since buffets were a very rare thing for me long before Covid.

We used to have one in practically every other town in NE Ohio, and they were one of the first to be known for their salad bar (them and Ponderosa). We also had a number of other buffets like Golden Corral and Hometown Buffet, plus a couple towns over, there was at least four Asian buffets (despite having almost no Asian residents). But yeah, COVID killed a lot of them, which was understandable but also made me a little sad. I like the occasional buffet for two reasons; first, I prefer a plate with twelve small bites of different foods than a plate overflowing with just one item and second, I can EAT, so I always get (more than) my money's worth at a buffet (and some of it is actually healthy-ish!). Oh, buffets are also a good way to try new foods without worrying you're going to dislike the dish and then wonder what to do with the uneaten portion.
