original and I mean that in a bad way. There are no murder mysteries, no cases to solve, heck her name isn't even really Matlock. I was left wondering why call it a reboot. Why not just make a show starring Kathy Bates as a lawyer with a vendetta. People would've watched that without tacking the name of an old classic on it.
If they're doing this with JLC then I want something that falls in line with the original show. Let her be a mystery writer, let her solve murders, etc. It doesn't have to be a carbon copy but, dang, at least let the character's real name be Jessica Fletcher. 🤣🤣
