for some shows.)

I'm truly shocked that they killed off Mags. I was never a big fan of hers and I thought the Bash/Mags romantic pairing was awful but I expected them to end up together. That said, I do appreciate that they drove home the danger of organ rejection after a transplant. Too many shows just have the character get a new organ and everything is fine and dandy afterwards. No problems, rarely mentioned again, but rejection is a risk.

I actually saw this spoiler on another board--I think it was Primetimer (previously Television Without Pity) and...I'm not all that bothered by it because Mags was always my least favorite character (of the ones we're supposed to like <g>) and I 1000% agree with everything you said here.

Mostly I feel bad for Bash and Amira because they have lost so much already. It's sad to add more pain to them. I fear Bash might never let anyone close to him again now. And I wonder what will happen to him by season's end. Will he move on? Will he take Mags' place now or start a clinic? Will he even stay in Canada?

I wonder about that too. As I mentioned, I just watched episode 3 in which Bash goes to see the guy who got him to Canada. I confess...I fell asleep towards the end of the episode so I don't know if the other doctor had a change of heart and wanted to welcome Bash back into his life for good. It seems like he didn't want that, that he was angry with Bash and Amira just leaving without warning, and I can understand that. Anyways, that was another person dropping out of Bash's life...at this rate, he won't have anyone but Amira to turn to and she'll likely have issues of her own, both in general and related to her relationship with Bash.

Theo has some serious anger issues this season that needs to be addressed. Maybe he would do better in a private practice. I'm ok with June moving on if she chooses to and it's really what she wants.

I loved Theo in season one but now, not so much. I like your idea of him having his own practice--then he can just yell at himself <g>. I've been kind of indifferent about June from day 1 and feel she's just a female Dr. Benton from ER (though Benton was a lot more shout-y) so I don't much care how her story ends.

I have to ask, are we suppose to like Devi? because I just don't. I truly can't stand her. I think she makes decisions based on her personal feelings and not what is best for the hospital. It shows in her treatment of Theo and Novak who I know is a jerk but he's a brilliant surgeon (meanwhile she lets Claire get away with stealing pain pills from the hospital?). Would she rather save lives or just surround herself by people she wants to be friends with?

I don't like Devi. I feel she's hurting the cause of females in positions of power for exactly the reason you state: she seems to be ruled by her emotions.

the promo shows Bishop back for Mags' funeral. I love seeing John Hannah again but can I hope that Devi gets the boot and Bishop reclaims his old job? Come home, sir! The children has missed you.

Yes, yes, YES! John Hannah is the main reason I started watching the show, and I was sorry to see him go even though it was a good storyline. I'd love to have him back at the end!
