It was the trip of GPS errors and closures...
Hah--yep! On my trip, I was happy to miss some of the road work but of course I couldn't avoid it entirely. Then, when I was in Vienna, before I knew about the free shuttle to the festival, I was asking Google Maps to show me the route from my hotel to a nearby elementary school which had overflow parking. Even though it SHOWED my starting point as the hotel, it TOLD me it would be a 5 hour, 234 mile trip 🤨
