in January when it’s freezing outside. In the summer, I also swim in the ocean. But today is too hot for the beach for me. I’d have to stay in the water the whole time. The sand on Long Island gets so hot, it’s hard to walk on it and not that pleasant to sit on. I miss the sand in Mexico, which stays cool because it’s made of different stuff.
