almost nothing about the movie other than it was critically acclaimed, and I also went in knowing almost nothing about Bob Dylan other than his music, his real name and his state of birth being Minnesota. I really enjoyed the film. I think it was wise to only cover a part of his life and not try to do an all-encompassing epic (I saw the movie was based on a book...was the book only about the time Dylan spent in the folk scene?). Timothée Chalamet was brilliant as Bob Dylan, though I expected nothing less <g>.
