It takes place on a farm in Canada a few weeks before 18-yr old Elliott is leaving for college in Toronto. Elliott does some mushrooms with her friends on her birthday and meets her future 39-yr old self (played by Aubrey Plaza). It’s a breakout role for Maisy Stella who plays 18-yr old Elliott. It’s a touching, heartwarming coming-of-age story. I highly recommend it.
