Public Theatre in NYC. She won an Obie award for that role. Obies are to Off-Broadway as Tonys are to Broadway. That was many decades ago, early in her career. She was one of those always working character actresses, always good but never the star. The last time I saw her was in Big Sky. RIP. Cancer sucks and 71 is too young.
