we used to watch MASH all the time on repeats. My Dad watched episodes of MASH all the time up until his last day watching tv.
My family watched a LOT of MASH over the years. Dad will still occasionally turn on an episode if he's bored and looking for something to watch (though that's not often--he prefers to read a book)
i loved Margaret and Frank in the early years of MASH, and her character had a really good evolution arc.
While I didn't like Margaret and Frank in the early years, IA that she had a fantastic arc, possibly the best of any character on the show. She went from being the other woman to marrying, and then divorcing, Lt. Colonel Penobscot, to being worried about what higher ranking nurses thought about her and being hard on the ones ranked lower to being, well, still hard on the nurses below her but only because she expected the best from them. I always loved the episode where she cried in front of the other nurses because they never invited her to join them in a lousy pot of fudge.
