I would've sworn Mom said some of her relatives had their pictures taken WITH the deceased while Dad said he thought they only took pictures OF the deceased. He remembers Mom getting pics in the mail of a dead uncle while I really believe she said *some* family members had their pictures taken with the corpse.
Funny story from that night, though (visitation) - at first my uncle was standing really close to the door and greeting people, and my mom realized that *maybe* he should stand elsewhere, since there were a lot of people that did not realize my dad was an identical twin. She didn't want to give people a heart attack, walking into the funeral home and seeing the 'deceased' saying hi!
