On Wednesday, I walked 14,000 steps, popped into four hearings. Security lines around the corner and down to the next street for the biggest building. In one hearing, I provided testimony on a budget request that supports our top caregiving bill. The other three were me sitting with volunteers for moral support.

We also got horrible news that a long-time and beloved volunteer team member has terminal brain cancer and can no longer volunteer for us. :( I went to visit him today.
