And where did I see her, you ask? It was in the locker room at the YMCA where I swim. I’d seen this woman several times in the locker room and every time I said to myself: Who does she remind me of? This time I realized that she is the spitting image of Lili Taylor. She was on her way out and I had just gotten out of a shower, so I didn’t have time to say anything. But I googled her and found out that she lives in the Cobble Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn, which is across the street from the Y. I’m sure it was her. The next time I see her, I’m going to introduce myself and tell her how much I’ve enjoyed her work. Perhaps we’ll cross paths in the sauna, where good conversations often happen.
