In reply to: Odd, I remember it being two stories too. I know the Sandusky Mall posted by senorbrightside
and found this Reddit thread [link] So probably the dress shop WAS on the second floor?

One of the comments mentioned Hair Care Harmony...I was thinking it was Great Clips that essentially blew it on ALL our 'dos (I got the Carol Brady flip*, bff and another bridesmaid wound up with the Farrah Fawcett "feathers" and the bride, who's, uh, already a bit "severe" looking, had her fine, thin hair plastered against her head, leading bff to re-do the 'do back at the bride's house where we were getting dressed). But maybe it WAS HCH? I also remember the food court having a Burger King; we were running late getting back to the bride's house, for several reasons (none our fault), and it had been about 6 hours since breakfast and we wouldn't be eating again until the reception at 7:00, so we took the time to get Whoppers and onion rings and although I was driving, occasionally bff would take the steering wheel from the passenger side so I could shove a bite of burger in my face.

* Folks have told me I should write a book about the Blue Foot Wedding (possible title: How NOT To Do a Wedding). If I did, one chapter would be on the salon experience. I remember having a surly stylist whose first words to me were "when are you going to grow out this awful perm?". Um, a) not before the wedding, which was about 4 hours away and b) not a perm. My hair is naturally curly. She then combed and tugged and twisted and straightened and re-curled my hair for almost an hour before--quite literally--stepping away, throwing her hands up in exasperation and saying "I give up--I can't do anything with this!". And then she charged me $25, which back then was about four times what the place was charging for a cut and style and was ridiculously high for a salon that was essentially hiring the folks who graduated at the bottom of their cosmetology class.

I sorta miss malls, but I just don't do well in spaces that have a lot of people any more :-/

I get that. Malls aren't nearly as crowded as they once were but they're still pretty...people-y.
