season four...

The male stripper thing was kinda funny. I did love him and Sloane because it was nice seeing someone choose him, unlike how it felt like Allison just used him to make herself feel better.

I understand, a little, why Allison did what she did and became what she was by the end of season three but using her power to get Luther to try to kiss her, and killing Harlan* later on, made me really question how they were going to redeem her (the character--as I mentioned, Emmy is a ray of sunshine and a national treasure) And then they just...didn't. I was glad in a way to see the perfect life she nearly got her siblings killed for wasn't as perfect as she was hoping (Ray gone and I guess without her powers, she couldn't rumor casting directors into giving her choice parts, so she only did commercials). I guess (I'm doing a LOT of guessing here) that the forgiving took place in the six years skipped between the end of season 3 and start of season 4?

* if someone can explain to me how Harlan conveniently killed ALL the mothers of our Hargreeves siblings despite some of them being on different continents (maybe) and none of them being in the hospital when Harlan was there while Sissy was dying, well, that'd be great.

I love all the cast interviews. You could tell they all really got along well which is great to see. Robert Sheehan, tho, he can tell the wildest stories. There was this one he was telling about being at a comicon and a fan asked him to eat raw eggs with them and he was like "Of course I did it. So we cracked open the eggs and a Power Ranger filmed us". That man lives a fun life.🤣🤣

I'm still working through the UA cast clips on YouTube but yes, Robert is easily the funniest. Though Tom is also right up there--he has the whole droll English wit thing working for him--and David and Justin can be unintentionally funny (the clip where Justin says something about David "ribbing" him and David later says, uh, "ribbing" but with the letter bs replaced with ms was priceless!). I also find it amusing that Elliot is almost as quiet as his character and Aiden, who's also pretty quiet in the group interviews, somehow manages to be the most mature of the bunch despite being the youngest by far.

I kind of wondered if the powers were random? The marigold just ensured they would have a power but Reginald didn't get to pre-decide what the power would be. Something similar happened in the TV show "The 4400" when it was figured out what was giving people powers they could replicate it but whatever power the person got was out of their control.

I think the powers were indeed random. I wonder when Sir Reginald first assigned them their numbers...as babies? Did any of them show their powers right from the start or did they not manifest until later in childhood?

I have to say I really appreciate you taking the time to reminisce about the show with me. It's a little hard being a latecomer to a popular (or at least somewhat "buzzy") show and having no one to discuss it with, so thanks for your thoughts!
