It's called Waverly Flats, at Riverside and Greenhaven in the Pocket/Greenhaven neighborhood in Sacramento.
First of all, twice now, one of the buildings has had no hot water. It's been in the news. And it goes on for MONTHS. Since that is a violation of state codes re: suitability of habitations, I hope most of these people got out of their leases and found something better.
The second thing is that very tragically, on 12/29/24, there was an apartment fire that killed a 14 yo boy. They planted a tree next to the apartment and there are flowers at the base of the tree. I'm so sad every time I walk by.
With these two issues, the rent for a 3 bed is under $2,000. We pay $2,800 (a far nicer complex and larger living spaces, and our back door opens onto the park). That $2,000 is unheard of for a 3 bed in this neighborhood. Heck, some are trying to rent places for nearly $4,000. Nope.
We keep saying we will move, but this year it has to happen with my husband's disability. We need a one story and will move in the fall. I can tell you - that place is OFF LIMITs. What we want is a story house near our Greenbelt. Can be a duplex. We'd all kill each other in an apartment LOL.
