works for us for the next four years. This will definitely be a de-stressing trip that will be good for my mental health as well as my physical health. We’re living in very dark, stressful times right now.
R u doing just pool and beach R&R or are you venturing out for anything else? Mexico is great for both; I was suprised how much I enjoyed a day tour to Tulum and surrounding areas. It was fun.
This will be a pure R&R trip. Hanging on the beach. Swimming in the turquoise sea. Drinking tequila and eating good food. The island is a foodie paradise (Isla Mujeres) so it’s a mix of going to old favorite restaurants and trying new ones. We’ll have a kitchen in the condo but probably won’t cook much. No AI. No day trips back to the mainland. Our condo is right on Playa Norte, which is a drop dead gorgeous beach. I have been to Tulum though, several times in the past. Tulum is also a beautiful beach as are the Mayan ruins there. I’ve been to other Mayan ruins, including Chitchen Itza. It’s well worth doing but not this trip. Mexico has a very rich history and culture. I wish more Americans knew that. This will be more like just living there for two weeks.
