Though I will point out that Chris Martin did exactly that -- he got people in to upstage him so hard people forget that it was his halftime show.

But people loved it, so good for him.

Anyway. I thought he did a good job. But it was always going to be a show that some people hated on, because it's pretty hard to please everyone. But some of those complaints are more valid than others.
