That's not really either here or there, except that it wasn't the NFL's idea and I think a big part of that is the fact that these are very successful people and they don't really want to share -- or if they are going to share, they'd like to be the author of it. J-Lo, I think, has been public about the fact that she wasn't delighted to be asked to co-headline with Shakira and she isn't nearly as big as someone like Bad Bunny or Taylor Swift. Not as a music act, at least.
I do think people tend to like the shows that are curated by the headliner as multi-artist platforms the best. Dr. Dre's show a few years ago was pretty well received.
