One of the things bff and I discussed last night was how it's not like we even have big dreams. Neither of us want to be rich enough to afford a second home (though a little beach house somewhere in the US would be nice) or get a fancy car or go on a European vacation every six months (or if you're one of our customers, go on an exotic cruise every six months). We just want to be able to pay the bills, put aside a little something for the future and go on one vacation a year for a few days.
I tell people I used to think nothing of dropping $50 at Target once every couple weeks and now I find myself in Dollar Tree agonizing over whether I can "afford" more than 3-4 items :-(
