bored, you can always clean!". Well yeah, I *could*...<g>

I have the same dilemma, all the of the things I enjoy doing are mostly outside and I just can't do them right now.

Yep. In the summer if I'm bored, I'll go for a bike ride around the block or a walk around the block, or if I have the time, I'll drive to a local park and walk. But I don't go outside (except for trips to and from the car <g>) unless it's at least 40° and preferably a LOT warmer.

my only suggestions are house projects that you've been thinking about but not actually doing - mostly because they probably aren't FUN projects. I have a list of those a mile long.

Hmmm...other than a few more drawers that could use organizing, I can't think of any house projects. If the attic wasn't colder than a polar bear's toenails, I'd consider reorganizing some things upstairs.

My mom told me that a bunch of hotels and resorts on Bora Bora closed and they never tore down the overwater bungalows, so i've been googling 'abandoned Bora Bora resorts 2020 - present' to kill the time.

I might have to look into that! I do enjoy an occasional "we went inside this abandoned <hotel, mall, theater, whatever>" video on YT.

sometimes i get up and stare out the windows, longing for warmer weather.

Done that a few times!

what if you plan out your next vacation? you don't have to have one actually planned, but it can be fun to think about where you might go next?

As of right now, I have no plans for a vacation this year :-( Sis talked about another trip to Edisto Island (SC); she goes maybe 5-6 times a year but it's only a short(ish) drive, and her friend owns an AirBNB and gives her the discount. I feel like if Sis was serious about another family trip to EI, we all would've heard about it by now.

It's a little sad that I'm already thinking about where to take my good church friend for her birthday in May. I usually take her to lunch and one of the local(ish) beaches; this year, I'm thinking Vermilion, Ohio. Possibly best known for their Woolly Bear Festival, which my high school marching band marched in the parade every year (usually in our wool band uniforms, which on a Sunday afternoon in late September is usually a bad idea <g>), I've not been there since, well, marching my senior year in high school in the Woolly Bear Festival parade. And we didn't exactly get a lot of time to walk around before or after the performance. There's a (Lake Erie) beach right off of the main street in town, which is about a 90 minute drive west...I think that might be fun.
