I finally ponied up the money for an AWD vehicle. I do NOT enjoy the payments but I enjoy the vehicle - and Mr. Kris tells me every other day how much anxiety it's reduced for him, apparently he was always really worried about me going out and driving in weather like this, even if I was driving his AWD vehicle. Sometimes we both have to be out in it, so it's nice to not have to worry about driving my car. I had a LOT of close calls in that thing, and in the car before it (one memorable one was when I was going to help a coworker move, and came to a circle that was on the absolute slightest of hills leading into it...I could not stop. There probably wasn't two inches of snow on the ground if that. Luckily I was able to turn my car sideways and slide into the circle, narrowly missing a Mustang that was already in the circle. later that same day my friend and I ended up on the side of the road stuck in a UHaul that was blown off the road by the winds and at one point we were literally blown so hard the truck turned around and was facing the other direction...guess we're going this way now!).

Anyway.

I know that unfortunately a new car isn't in the cards. I hope you'll be able to avoid really bad weather from here on out and that our winter will end sooner rather than later!
