85-year-old father to come visit. I am planning (and hopefully this works out) to pick him up at the train station tomorrow (usually he just takes transit himself) because it's going to be so cold and arduous for him -- and because I think we are officially in the era where he needs a bit more support getting around. But the extra ice from the day of rain is not helping matters!
