I've been to the Capitol twice this week now (working with partners on getting an author for a bill; we have interest!) and I was relieved to see lobbyists with suits on wearing...sneakers, or tennis shoes as they call them here. (Never got used to that). And these folks were more like 30s/40s.
I was relieved because I strolled in wearing Skechers. NOTHING is comfortable anymore except my beloved Skechers, not even their "dress shoes". Everything hurts my stupid 4th toe on the left foot except my nice tennis shoes.
Some staffers were also wearing sneakers. LOL.
So, that's why I was non-plussed at Kathy Bates wearing them to the GG.
