kick lately, largely because it's something quick and easy to make on a Sunday night and then have leftovers on Monday for either lunch or dinner. Yesterday, I had some of a Hearth and Fire margherita pizza and was expecting to really be wowed by it as it's one of the more expensive options (I only got it because I found it in the clearance section of the freezer at Giant Eagle). It was...barely adequate, and I'm not really all that fussy about my pizza. The picture on the box showed an ample amount of sauce, cheese and basil...the actual product had almost NO sauce, almost no basil and a little less cheese than I would've liked. Hmmm...maybe that's why it was in the clearance section?
If there's a frozen pizza you really like, I'd love to hear about it! So far, I think my favorite wasn't really "pizza" at all; I like Motor City Co.'s five cheese cheesy bread. The cheese sauce is delicious! If you make your own pizza at home, I'd love to know if you have a preference for a certain sauce and/or crust (or if you're really hard core and make those from scratch as well).
