try to come up with some Manhattan restaurant suggestions for you. Manhattan restaurants are more expensive than Brooklyn restaurants so I go out to restaurants in Brooklyn much more often. But I’m sure I can come up with some recommendations.
I remember that you said you want to do the Statue of Liberty. I love Lady Liberty and love seeing her in the harbor from a distance on a regular basis. If you want to do the tour and actually set foot on the island and go inside the statue (I’m not sure how far you can climb inside of her currently.), I’m told that it can be an all day thing because there are long lines. I just want you to know that you can ride the Staten Island Ferry from the southern tip of Manhattan for free and get a great view of the Statue of Liberty. Something to consider if you get time-crunched fitting in everything you want to do in. I forgot how many days you are staying. My grandmother arrived in the US via Ellis Island (by herself at age 18!) so Ellis Island was a great thing to visit for me.
