I love it, but I'm not terribly picky about who makes it, so unless someone else is picking the restaurant, I rarely go to Italian restaurants. When I do, I'm usually sitting there thinking "$15 for a plate of cheese ravioli? Are you kidding me? I can get a can of Chef Boyardee ravioli at Dollar Tree for $1.25!" Or more likely, I can buy a box of pasta and a jar of good spaghetti sauce for about $7 and then have Italian food 4-5 times.
ETA--I really do like, and appreciate, GOOD Italian food, made in a kitchen by a chef who's studied the cuisine. But I often can't justify the cost.
